Russia failed to hide the remnants of its fleet from the Defense Forces.
Despite the fact that Russia is trying to group, the vessels are still in the zone of possible destruction by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
This was announced by the head of the joint coordination press center of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, Natalya Gumenyuk, during a briefing at the Ukraine-Ukrinform Media Center.
” We need to plan combat work in such a way that it is as effective as possible, because we understand that they will defend themselves, they have the capabilities for this, including air defense, and are trying to build additional obstacles that should protect them from naval drones “, explained Natalya Gumenyuk.
The representative adds that even during short-term patrols in the Black Sea, enemy ships do not go too far, but only control the integrity and location of the booms that were installed at the entrance to the bay.
- The defense forces of southern Ukraine have summed up the losses of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in March. In March, the Russian patrol ship Sergei Kotov sank, and the large landing ships Konstantin Olshansky, Yamal, Azov and the reconnaissance ship Ivan Khurs were also damaged.
