- The creation of such a fund was also supported by Canada.Canada's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Melanie, who is taking part in the NATO ministerial meeting currently ongoing in Brussels, said that assistance was one of the ideas that Canada proposed during negotiations in “Group of Seven.”
- Also, the United States and other Western countries are considering the possibility of transferring the Ukrainian Defense Contact Group (“Ramstein”) under NATO control.
- Later, Stoltenberg said that NATO should ensure the expected assistance from Ukraine and change the dynamics of support.
