The 811th day of heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation has begun. The defense forces continue to carry out tasks to prevent the enemy from advancing into the depths of our country, disrupting his tasks to establish complete control over the Donetsk and part of the Kharkov regions.

As of 10:00 on May 14 in the Chernigov and Sumy regions the situation has not undergone significant changes, there have been no changes in the condition and position of the troops.
During the current day, the enemy carried out 31 attacks on the positions of our troopsin the Kharkov, Kupyansky, Limansky, Seversky, Kramatorsk, Toretsky, Pokrovsky, Kurakhovsky and Vremevsky directions, 20 of them are still ongoing.
In the Kharkov directionunits of our troops repel 1 enemy attack on the direction Shebekino (RF) – Volchansk, the situation is under control. As a result of the intense fire influence of the enemy, namely air strikes with the use of 10 KABs, on our units, in order to save the lives of Ukrainian military personnel, positions were changed in the area of the village of Lukyantsy. Fighting continues.
Activities continue to comb urban development in Volchansk. The situation is under control. Enemy losses in this direction over the current 24 hours amounted to 4 people and 5 units of weapons and military equipment.
In the Kupyansky direction3 attacks by Russian invaders continue in the directions Olshana – Petropavlovka, Krakhmalnoye – Berestovo , Kolomychikha – Stelmakhovka, the enemy has no success. Units of our troops destroyed an enemy tank and infantry fighting vehicle.
In the Seversk directionunits of our troops repel 7 enemy attacks in the directions Veseloye – Razdolevka, Zolotarovka – Verkhnekamennoye, Nikolaevka – Spornoye, Berestovoe – Vyemka. The fighting continues, the situation is under control. In the Kramatorsk direction, our troops repelled 2 enemy attacks in the Bakhmut – Novy, Bakhmut – Kleshchievka directions, there were no losses of positions.
In the Toretsk directionunits of our troops hold back 1 attack of the Russian invaders in the Nikolaevka – Belaya Gora direction, without enemy success.
In the Pokrovsky direction the troops of the Defense Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks in the directions: Arkhangelskoye – Novoaleksandrovka, Arkhangelskoye – Kalinovoe, Arkhangelskoye – Evgenevka, Tonenkoye – Netailovo, Peski – Netailovo, 5 attacks are still ongoing. In some areas, as a result of intense enemy fire, the enemy had limited tactical success.
On the Kurakhovsky directionOur troops repelled 1 enemy attack in the Marinka – Grigorovka direction. In a separate sector, the enemy had limited success.
In the Vremiv direction units of our troops repelled 5 enemy attacks in the Sladkoe – Vodyanoe, Zavetnoye Zhelenie – Staromayorskoe directions. During the battles, there were no losses of positions.
In the Orekhovsky direction the group’s troops repulsed 1 enemy attack in the Novoprokopovka – Robotino direction. The enemy had no success, no losses of positions and territories were allowed.
There were no significant changes in the situation in other directions.
Over the past 24 hours, aviation and units of the missile forces of the Defense Forces struck 1 artillery weapon, 1 electronic warfare station, 1 control point, 1 composition of ammunition and 8 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment. An enemy Su-25 was also shot down.
Since the beginning of the day the enemy carried out 8 air strikes, 15 guided bombs were used, 23 kamikaze drone strikes were carried out, the enemy carried out more than 500 attacks on positions our troops. The enemy's total losses in manpower amount to 80 people, weapons and military equipment – 32 units.

- Meanwhile, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, expects that the attacks in the Kharkov region will last another three to four days, after which Russian troops will launch a powerful offensive in the direction of Sumy.
