According to the organization's estimates, 40% of Ukrainians are in need of humanitarian assistance.

Representative of the Office of the United Humanitarian Affairs Organization Lisa Douten during a meeting of the Security Council, announced more than 700 Ukrainian civilians who became victims of the war in Ukraine in April: 129 people were killed, 574 injured.
As Ukrinform writes, the UN recorded 50 incidents during the month when Russians attacked the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, most of all in the Kharkov region. Millions of families were temporarily left without means of cooking and heating. A new practice of the occupiers was shelling railway facilities.
According to the UN, about 7 thousand people were evacuated from the Kharkov region, many of them do not have access to food, medical care, electricity and gas. A total of 14 million of our citizens, that is, about 40% of the population, are in one way or another in need of humanitarian assistance.
Of the more than $3 billion needed to meet the humanitarian needs of Ukrainians in 2024, international donors have already allocated 22% of the money.
