decree on ensuring membership of Ukraine in the executive council of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in 2024-2026.
This is stated on the website of the head of state.
For this purpose, Zelensky approved the composition of the delegation, which included:
- Alexander Karasevich – Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, head of the delegation;
- Aleksey Jaiani – Deputy Chief of Staff of the Anti-Terrorism Center at the SBU;
- Sergey Pakhomov – Deputy Head of the Department of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection of the Command of the Armed Forces Support Forces;
- Nikolai Prodanchuk – Director of the State Enterprise “Scientific Center for Preventive Toxicology, Food and Chemical Safety named after Academician L.I. . Bear of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine” (by agreement);
- Sergey Shutenko – Director of the Department of International Security and Military-Technical Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

< Zelensky allowed the head of the delegation to make contributions as agreed. with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, changes in the composition of the delegation, distribute responsibilities between members, attract advisers, experts, and technical workers in the prescribed manner to ensure the work.
Also, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must approve the instructions of the delegation to participate in meetings of the executive council of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, and the Cabinet of Ministers must provide financial support for the work.
