The chairman of the neighboring country's Ministry of Defense wants to return to historical issues.
Vladislav Kosiniak-Kamish – Kamysh nominated Ukraine in an interview with Polsat News condition for joining the European Union.
According to the official, our state will not join the bloc until the “Volyn issue” is resolved – according to him, “realpolitik must deliver an ultimatum.” We are talking about Ukraine admitting guilt and apologizing for the mutual ethnic cleansing that took place during World War II.
Due to differences in the interpretation of these historical events, the minister believes that “not everything is ideal” in the relations between the two countries. However, Kosiniak-Kamysh notes that the result of the war between Russia and Ukraine can only be our victory, because any other option “remains a direct threat of war for Poland.”
