According to the investigation, on August 10, 2024, at about 18:00, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the enemy launched an airstrike on the civilian infrastructure of the city of Belopolye, Sumy district.
As a result of the attack by the occupiers, a 39-year-old civilian man was injured, he is now in the intensive care unit, his condition is serious.
At least 7 private houses were also damaged.
Under the procedural guidance of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the shelling.
