UAVs, portable radio stations, repeaters, night vision devices, optical sights, etc.</p> <p>The Ministry of Defense says it is improving approaches to defense procurement through automation and transparent procedures based on the Prozorro Market electronic catalog. This tool operates on the principle of an online store, where military units can quickly and conveniently purchase the necessary goods using budget funds. For example, the military can use 10% of the personal income tax returned from local budgets to military units.</p> <p>The key advantages of the electronic catalog are efficiency, transparency and competitiveness. <b>The purchase lasts on average only 9 days, which is much faster compared to other procedures. Prozorro Market also allows you to achieve three times higher competition and, as a result, use funds as efficiently as possible. > </p> <p>For example, the system has more than 130 drone suppliers. When a military unit announces a purchase, all suppliers receive a corresponding notification and can offer their price. The system automatically selects the best offer. <b>Thus, it was possible to save about UAH 120 million on the purchase of UAVs alone.</b> </p> <p>It is noted that the military nomenclature that can be purchased through Prozorro Market is constantly expanding. The State Institution “Professional Purchases” and the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Special Systems”, the system administrators, communicate with military units, analyze the market and add new products.
