As a result of the Russian attack overnight, 4 people were killed and 16 were injured, the head of state said.
A rescue operation is ongoing at the sites of impacts and falls of debris in the regions of Ukraine that were under Russian attack last night, President Volodymyr Zelensky said on the morning of August 27.
The head of state noted that all services have been involved, and the rubble is being cleared.
“Unfortunately, despite the effective work of our air defense, four people were killed and 16 were injured. My condolences to the families and friends of the victims,” the president said.
According to him, the enemy used more than 90 air targets against civilians and infrastructure: 81 “shaheds,” as well as cruise, ballistic and aeroballistic missiles.
“We will definitely respond to Russia for this and all other strikes. “Crimes against humanity cannot be committed with impunity,” Zelensky promised.
