“The report says that three soldiers from one of the brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces came out of the basement of a house with their hands up when the enemy came very close to them. The occupiers put them face down on the ground, after which they almost immediately shot them in the back,” the Prosecutor General's Office reported.
This information is currently being verified, and investigative actions are being carried out to establish all the circumstances of the incident.

The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts.
The Office of the Prosecutor General reminded that the deliberate killing of prisoners of war is a gross violation of the Geneva Conventions and is classified as a grave international crime.
