Prokazyuk is a native of the village of Gai, Brody district, Lviv region. He was a participant in the Plast camps “Shashkevichi Krai”, “In the Footsteps of the Galicia Division”, “Zvitiaga”, a number of trips and events. He took the Plast oath in 2011 and was actively Plast until about 2013.
He received his higher education at the Kharkiv National Aviation University of the Air Force named after I. Kozhedub. After graduation, he served in a military unit in Chuguev, Kharkiv region. He was a captain and a helicopter commander of a helicopter link of a helicopter squadron of a military unit.
With the start of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he and his comrades transported equipment and all the equipment of the unit from the Kharkiv region to the Lviv region. There he worked in a training aviation brigade. He carried out combat sorties and participated in military operations.
The pilot was buried with military honors on September 3 in his native village.
