<p>In “Action”, sailors can now appoint a proxy without visiting a notary, said Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development – ​​Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.</p>
<p>“Sailors are constantly on voyages around the world, so finding time to pick up documents in the Shipping Administration, it can be very difficult. We have added to the Action the ability to appoint a trusted person who can pick up the documents while you are on a voyage. To do this, simply indicate the person's details when you submit an application for a rank or confirmation of qualification,” Fedorov wrote.</p>

He explained that the representative will receive a QR code by mail, which must be shown at the Shipping Administration to pick up the documents.

The minister also noted that previously it was only possible to issue a power of attorney with a notary, this is a paid service that lasts up to a week. In Action, everything is free, fast and, most importantly, safe.
