Repair crews waited more than a day for permission to begin repairs and restore power. Due to constant Russian shelling, it was only possible to obtain permission to carry out the work today.

The Ministry of Energy noted that while the Zaporizhzhya NPP is occupied, the threat of an accident remains, and safe operation of the Zaporizhzhya NPP is only possible under the control of Ukraine.
