The bus will arrive on schedule to those settlements where there are no working kindergartens yet.
A mobile early development center, financed with the support of 30 Finnish companies, has begun operating in the Kherson region.
This was announced by the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
“Colorful, decorated with cartoon characters. Such an early development center “on wheels” will operate in the Kherson region. The bus is equipped with all the necessary materials for classes with children, as well as sports equipment for active leisure. This will allow the kids not only to study, but also to have fun,” he wrote in Telegram.
The head of the OVA noted that professional defectologists and psychologists will work with the children, who will help them overcome stress and promote socialization.
The bus will arrive on schedule to those settlements where there are no working kindergartens yet. It will stop where there is shelter.
“Unfortunately, due to Russian aggression in the Kherson region, many educational institutions have been destroyed. Therefore, this mobile kindergarten will help at least partially compensate for the lack of preschool education and support children who need it most,” Prokudin added.
The Fun Academy on Wheels project was implemented with the support of 30 Finnish companies, as well as the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Finland, the Ukrainian State Service for Education Quality, the Ukrainian Institute for Education Development and the Association of Innovative and Digital Education.
< As reported, the work of kindergartens in the occupied territories of Ukraine is almost paralyzed.
As of May last year, 70 kindergartens were known to have been destroyed and more than 1,300 damaged by Russian shelling in Ukraine. Before the start of the full-scale war, there were about 15,000 preschool education institutions operating in Ukraine.
