PFM-1 “Petal” ” . During October 7, several cases of remote mining of the Dniprovsky district were recorded.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson MVA Roman Mrochko
“Attention! Today, several cases of remote mining have been confirmed in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. The enemy is scattering mines – “petals” – on the roads, – says Mrachko's report.
The Chairman of the MVA warns that it is very dangerous to approach this anti-personnel mine. The device is small in size – about the size of a palm, and can be green or brown. The “petal” is capable of exploding both when touched and on its own.
“It is strictly forbidden to approach the mine, and especially to touch it! If you find such a “petal”, dial “101”, – emphasizes the head of the Kherson MVA.
- As reported by the Kherson OVA, the occupiers specially coat the “Petal” mines with glue and roll them in soil, dust and leaves, camouflaging them. So the mines become less noticeable, and they can be mistaken for stones or garbage.
