By the end of 2024, Ukraine will receive another package of military aid from Germany with the support of its partners.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced this in a statement to the media during a meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky.
“By the end of the year, with the support of our partners – Belgium, Denmark and Norway – we will deliver another package to Ukraine worth “the sum of 1.4 billion euros,” said Scholz.
Our country will receive IrisT and Skynex air defense systems, as well as howitzers, “geetahs,” self-propelled guns, armored vehicles, combat drones, radars and ammunition.
Scholz also spoke about the planned assistance to Ukraine for 2025.
“In the coming years, we will continue to provide military support to Ukraine – we have already included 4 billion euros in our budget. This is direct bilateral military assistance,” the Chancellor added. This demonstrates two things. First, Ukraine can count on us. Second, this is a clear message to Putin – playing for time will not give anything. We will continue to support Ukraine.
