Ukraine could want the Kursk nuclear power plant near the town of Kurchatov. Ale did not want this work.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this, RBC-Ukraine reported on his interview with the Ukrainian region of Eastern Europe.
“Russia thinks that stench even stronger, but if we wanted to own this nuclear power plant, we would have built it, we could have built it, but we didn’t want anything,” the president said.
The head of the state said that Ukraine did not want to seize the nuclear power plant from the Kursk region, which meant that it would be similar to the Russians.
“We are not paying for its critical infrastructure, as they did not build up from the Zaporizia nuclear power plant,” – having added Zelensky.
Kursk operation ZSU
The Ukrainian army launched an operation in the Kursk region on the ear of a sickle. The ZSU managed to extend over tens of kilometers and occupy nearly 100 populated areas. Recently, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the creation of a buffer zone.
Earlier, Zelensky explained that the Kursk operation was a new preventive strike, some Russians wanted to break through the cordon near the Sumy region. The head of the state said that having broken through the Kursk region is only part of the operation.
In his words, the ZSU operation is small and another task is to increase the exchange fund so that exchanges would be easier.
Also Zelensky stated that Ukraine wants to seize territory from the Kursk region, but dictator Volodymyr Putin will not sit at the negotiating table.
