“We would very much like to receive help. This includes artillery, air defense, and some other unofficial important things,” the Ukrainian president said.

Ukraine and South Korea have previously been cautious about arms supplies, but now Kiev will ask for weapons.
Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an interview with the South Korean TV channel KBS.
According to the head of state, Seoul is providing humanitarian and medical assistance. But due to the intervention of the DPRK, the issue of weapons also arose.
“After North Korea received a real official status of people who came to fight against Ukrainian citizens, our request will be detailed. It will be with my representative, who will come to South Korea in the near future. And we will talk about weapons,” Zelensky said.
He added that he does not know “what South Korea will answer me.”
“But we would very much like to be helped. Yes, including artillery, and air defense, and some other unofficial important things,” the Ukrainian president noted.
Zelensky also commented on the biased attitude of South Korean citizens towards military support for Ukraine. He said that this is not only our country's war, since the DPRK has secured Russia's support.
“You cannot expect this, in my opinion. You need strong allies who, if Russia supports North Korea, will be with you. You cannot be alone against North Korea with Russia. You will have what we have,” the head of state noted.
- North Korea has stepped up its military operations in recent months. Pyongyang announced Wednesday that it would permanently block its border with South Korea due to “confrontation hysteria” from South Korean and American forces.
- North Korea has destroyed roads connecting the two Koreas in response to Seoul's alleged launch of drones over the North Korean capital to spread information against leader Kim Jong Un.
- Tensions between Pyongyang and Western countries and their allies have risen further after it was revealed that thousands of North Korean soldiers will be sent to Russia's war in Ukraine.
