The former commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Yuriy Sodol, was dismissed from military service based on the conclusion of the military medical commission (MMC), “Ukrainian Truth” reports, citing interlocutor in military circles.
It is noted that Sodol was dismissed from the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on October 14.
The interlocutor of the publication did not provide any other details.

In June of this year, the chief of staff of the Azov Brigade of the National Guard, Bohdan Krotevich, filed a statement with the State Bureau of Investigations calling for an investigation into Sodol.
Krotevich accused the general of abuse of office and incompetent command of the troops. According to him, Sodol “killed more Ukrainian soldiers than any Russian general.”
Sodol's command style was also criticized by blogger and volunteer Sergei Sternenko.
On June 24, Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Andriy Gnatov as commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine instead of Sodol.
