Kyiv bids farewell to former Kherson deputy Yevgeny Matkovsky, who died at the front

He was considered missing in action since December 27, 2022.

Kyiv bid farewell to former Kherson City Council deputy, fighter Yevhen Matkovsky, writes the Most publication.

Matkovsky joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in September 2022. He was a serviceman of the 25th separate airborne Sicheslav brigade of the Airborne assault troops.

In civilian life, in particular, in 2015-2020, he was a deputy of the Kherson city council from the All-Ukrainian Union “Svoboda”.

Matkovsky was considered missing in action since December 27, 2022. He was last in contact on December 26 near the village of Chervonopovka, Severodonetsk district, Luhansk region.
