Dozens more drones have been lost.
Air defense work, mobile groups
The Russian army struck Ukraine with various types of missiles, guided aerial bombs and attack drones. In total, 96 air attack vehicles were detected (excluding KABs), the Air Force reported.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The enemy launched:
- 2 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Kursk region towards the Sumy region
- 2 Kh-101 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers, launch area – Caspian Sea
- 2 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, launch area – Voronezh region
- 90 Shahed-type attack UAVs and unidentified drones from the Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Orel regions.
“As of 10:00, the downing of two Kh-101 cruise missiles, two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 37 enemy UAVs has been confirmed in the Kyiv, Poltava, Zhitomir, Sumy, Cherkasy, Zaporizhia, Chernihiv and Kirovohrad regions,” the report says.
Another 47 enemy drones were lost in different regions of Ukraine, two UAVs left Ukrainian airspace in the direction of Belarus and Russia. Two more drones were in the air.
- In the Kyiv region, in the Brovarsky district, a fire broke out as a result of falling debris. One man was injured.
