According to the court's verdict, the security guard admitted his guilt in the illegal deprivation of a person's liberty, committed. by prior agreement and torture.
On November 7, Tsuber entered into a plea agreement. He pledged to cooperate with the investigation and give incriminating testimony against other people involved in the crime, including Tishchenko.
The court sentenced the guard to five years in prison and, through a plea agreement with the investigation, released him from serving his sentence, instead replacing it with a probationary period of two years. This is on the condition that Tsuber does not commit a new criminal offense during these two years.
The guard must also periodically report to the supervisory authority for registration, report changes in place of residence, work or study, and not leave Ukraine without permission. Tsuber was released from the pretrial detention center.
On November 15, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv extended the measure of restraint for MP Mykola Tyshchenko until December 23. The deputy will remain under round-the-clock house arrest.
Tyshchenko Case
- On the afternoon of June 20, in Dnipro, a group of people attacked former Kraken military unit Dmitry Pavlov, who was with his small child. Pavlov made remarks to people in unmarked military uniforms and balaclavas who were in the middle of the city. Unknown people in balaclavas and camouflage attacked him, tried to handcuff him, and began to beat him. According to information from social networks, the attackers were Tishchenko's guards. Tishchenko himself accused the ex-military of involvement in the so-called call centers.
- Subsequently, two criminal cases were opened on the fact of the attack. And the Kyiv policeman who participated in the incident was fired.
- The Chairman of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak commented on the video recording of the conflict between his godfather Tishchenko and the military man. He said that Tishchenko's behavior is “incompatible with the status of a people's deputy.”
- On the evening of June 24, Tishchenko was charged under Part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The penalty provides for up to five years of restriction or imprisonment. On June 25, the Perera Court imposed a preventive measure on Tishchenko – round-the-clock house arrest for a period of two months. This was the measure requested by the prosecution, and the defense asked to reject the petition.
