The increase in Russian military expenditures is not necessarily equal to growth of the Russian military potential. However, it is possible to rely on the Kremlin to continue the war in Ukraine.
RBC-Ukraine reports this from communications to the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Analysts They mean that 1st Russian dictator Volodymyr Putin signed a decree approving the federal budget for 2025. In Russia, nearly 41% of Russia's spending goes to national security and defense.
At the same time, ISW believes that Russia's spending on defense is increasing, although it is not safe, but not obligatory equals a one to one increase in the Russian military potential. Particularly important for the insurance industry is the fact that more funding is used to pay for assistance to Russian soldiers, veterans and their homelands.
The constant respect of the Russian Federation for military expenditures, undoubtedly, also contributes to the effectiveness and the resilience of Russian social programs, which can be influenced by the Kremlin’s establishment to prolong the war in Ukraine, the growing pressure on the Russian economy and Putin’s tendency to reduce the risks for stability of its regime.
We remember that the law on the Russian budget for 2025 was signed, and the budget for defense in the amount of 145 billion dollars was seen – a record amount that the Russian Federation saw for the war.
