According to the head of state, the real figures are much lower.
Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has disputed the veracity of the data circulated in Western media regarding the alleged 80,000 Ukrainian soldiers killed during Russia's full-scale invasion. The figures are “much lower.” At the same time, the head of state says that the authorities do not have reliable information about the number of civilians and soldiers killed and tortured by Russians who were in the temporarily occupied territories.
Separately, the President named the ratio of losses during the Kursk operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: since September 2024, for every one fallen Ukrainian soldier, the enemy had “two-hundredths” of its eight soldiers.
- During a pre-conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Zelensky said that Russia “must go to hell.”
