President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded state awards to 401 fighters of the National Guard, the State Border Service, police officers and rescuers.

“Over the past month, 6,000 servicemen have voluntarily returned to their military units (Ed.: after leaving their military unit, place of service, or desertion)… These are 6,000 servicemen who have already marched,” he said.

At the same time, Grinchuk noted that he could not announce the total number of servicemen who left their places of service or deserted, since this information is “sensitive and can be used by the enemy.” Statistics show that 40-60% of servicemen who have committed SZCh voluntarily return to their units, he emphasized.
