The Palyanitsa drone rocket has entered serial production, - Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustam Umerov <p>The Ukrainian Palyanitsa drone rocket has entered serial production. Defense Minister Rustam Umerov wrote about this in his blog on LB.ua.</p> <p>The minister recalled that Palyanitsa was developed by a private startup and called the results of the work of private defense enterprises “incredible.”</p> <p>“The President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Ukraine has already manufactured the first 100 missiles this year. This was made possible thanks to the work of the Ministry of Defense, which coordinates both public and private initiatives in rocket production,” Umerov noted. This is an example of how the state and the private sector unite to achieve common goals, he added. </p> <p>The minister also recalled the resumption and scaling of serial production of R-360 cruise missiles of the Neptune complex. “The modified missiles are now capable of hitting targets at a greater range,” Umerov wrote. </p> <p>Recall that on August 24, 2024, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported the first combat use of the Ukrainian Palyanitsa drone missile in the temporarily occupied territory. Its range is 400-700 km.
