A 32-year-old resident of Rakhiv region posed as an employee of the TCC and SP and promised to issue a certificate of unfitness for $18,000 a certificate of unfitness for military service due to health reasons.
After receiving the funds, the criminal handed over to his “clients” a fictitious “document” printed on a regular printer. The criminal was detained immediately after receiving money from another client.
He was informed of his suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 15, part 4 of article 190 (attempt to seize someone else's property by deception (fraud), committed on a large scale) and part 1 of article 358 (forgery of a document issued and certified by an institution granting rights or exempting from obligations, with the purpose of using it by another person and the sale of such a document) of the Criminal Code.
In accordance with the sanction of the incriminated articles, the accused faces up to 8 years of imprisonment.
Earlier it was also reported that Kharkiv police suspect the former TCC employee of promising to receive disability benefits for money.
