US Defense Department spokesman General Patrick Ryder reported how much money the Pentagon has left for military aid to Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
“There are $2.21 billion left under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI), as well as $6.8 billion within the presidential powers,” Ryder said.
A representative of the US Department of Defense noted that the Pentagon received instructions from the White House “to make every effort to further expedite the provision of assistance to Ukraine and to use existing authorities.”

He assured that the Pentagon is doing exactly this because the department’s sense of urgency in providing support to Ukraine has not changed.
Ryder emphasized that the United States will continue to contact the Ukrainian side, allies and partners to ensure that Ukraine has the ability to defend freedom and sovereignty.
