Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky reported that he worked in the brigades carrying out tasks in the Kursk direction. The main task now is to strengthen the resilience of the defense, the task of reducing losses to the enemy, and preparing reserves.
The work was dedicated to solving these issues, the commander-in-chief said in Telegram. He added that work at both command posts and on the battlefield continues virtually around the clock.
“Our soldiers are effectively and systematically destroying the enemy advancing with superior forces,” he said.
- The Kursk operation has been ongoing since August of this year. The defense forces captured a certain part of Russian territory in order to reduce the number of attacks on civilians in the border areas of Ukraine.
- To strengthen the situation, the Russians transferred about 11,000 troops from North Korea to the Kursk region.
