President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the night strikes on the Russian Federation, noting that this is precisely the long-range strike that brings Russia back to reality that the war needs to be ended. The head of state reported this on social networks.
“Report of Commander-in-Chief Syrsky. First of all, I want to thank our soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who delivered significant strikes on Russian targets and people last night,” Zelensky wrote. He noted that the Commander-in-Chief reported on the details of the defeat.
“This is precisely the kind of long-range capability and accuracy that are gradually returning Russia to reality – to the reality that the war needs to be ended,” the head of state noted.
The Commander-in-Chief also reported on all the main front-line directions. The hottest ones are in Donetsk region, namely the Pokrovskoe and Kurakhovskoe directions. Fierce fighting continues. The Russian army, as in November, is now, in December, spending its people in battles and assaults at a record rate. These months – November and December – have seen record Russian losses.
