The Ministry of Defense did not have information about the needs of military services at the 211th pontoon-bridge brigade of the ZSU Support Forces. The department learned about this situation only after the publication of ZMI.
RBC-Ukraine reports about this after sending a statement to the speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Dmitry Lazutkina on Radio Liberty.
The TV presenter chuckled that the Ministry of Defense took a position on the situation at the 211th Brigade even after the journalists wrote about the scandal. The remaining information about the needs of this brigade has been available since the spring of 2024, when the inspection services were carried out.
“You understand that the Defense Forces currently have over 1 million military service members. And the incidents are being exterminated, we want to investigate them as quickly as possible… We didn’t have information about these incidents, but now we have information. If work is carried out, an investigation will be carried out,” he said. Lazutkin.
Having added that the department did not know about the scandalous situation, they contacted the hotline of the Ministry of Defense or the Central Directorate for the Protection of the Rights of Military Services to inform about the 211th's actions there was no brigade.
