The best recruitment indicators for the Armed Forces of Ukraine are shown by five regions of Ukraine.
This was reported by Deputy Minister of Defense, Brigadier General of Justice Serhiy Melnyk, Ukrinform reports.
“As of today, I can identify five top regions that are doing the best recruiting for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These are Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Zaporizhia regions, as well as Kyiv,” Melnyk noted.
He specified that women make up more than 20% of citizens wishing to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Currently, according to statistics from the Ministry of Defense, 30 thousand Ukrainians have joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through recruiting centers in a year.
“We receive information weekly, and this information is as follows: about 900 citizens of Ukraine wish to enroll independently in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And now we can state the fact that the popularity of today's top military registration specialties is as follows: the first is UAV operators and medical workers, as well as employees of military unit headquarters,” the Deputy Minister of Defense noted.
