According to Keith Kellogg, this is “not a good idea at all.”
>Keith Kellogg, the special representative for Ukraine and Russia in the administration of US President-elect Donald Trump, criticized the liquidation of General Igor Kirillov in Moscow, who was responsible for the use of chemical weapons on the battlefield.
On Fox Business, Kellogg called this special operation “not a good idea at all,” especially condemning the use of a mercenary to plant explosives. According to the adviser, Trump, “there are rules of war, you can't kill wounded soldiers, you can't kill non-combatants, you don't need to extend the legitimacy of the target to generals and admirals in their hometowns.”
Despite the criticism, Kellogg is convinced that the high-profile liquidation will not affect peace talks between Ukraine and Russia, for which, as he claims, both countries are “already ready.”
- The day before, the Pentagon said that they did not know about Ukraine preparing an operation against the “chemical” general Kirillov.
- According to LB.ua sources, the liquidation of the war criminal was carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine.
