The work of the registers under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice has been suspended.
The Deputy Prime Minister and her minister on Facebook announced the implementation of the largest targeted cyberattack on the data of the unified and state registers that are under the jurisdiction of her department.
According to the official, the Russians tried to disrupt the work of the state's critical infrastructure. Specialists are working on a gradual restoration of access to the registries.
First of all, the normal operation of the State Register of Civil Status Acts, the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs, and the State Register of Rights to Real Estate will be restored. The deadline is approximately up to 2 weeks.
During the day on Friday, Stefanishin promises to report on the specifics of providing services to citizens. After the work is completed, an analysis will be conducted to strengthen protection against such interventions in the future.
The minister claims that the enemy is using the situation to sow panic among Ukrainian citizens within the country and abroad.
At the same time, Russian hackers released a statement that they gained access to more than 1 billion lines of data from the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and allegedly destroyed the information, including backup data on servers in Poland.
