The Bethlehem organization “Plast” solemnly handed over the symbolic Bethlehem peace fire to President Volodymyr Zelensky.
He announced this on Facebook.
“I met with Ukrainian scouts who handed over the Bethlehem peace fire to the world. The fire will also be handed over to our defenders,” he wrote.
The president thanked scouting organizations for “helping and caring for Ukraine.”
Among those present at the meeting were members of the youth organization “Plast – National Scout Organization of Ukraine”, the all-Ukrainian youth public organization “National Organization of Scouts of Ukraine” and the public organization “Association of Guides of Ukraine”.
