The government has allocated money for school buses, student meals, inclusion and advanced training A visiting meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Zaporizhia region <p>The government has allocated money for school buses, student meals, inclusion and advanced training for teachers.</p> <p>As reported on the government portal, this was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during a visiting meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Zaporizhia region on December 27.</p> <p>In particular, a decision was made to allocate UAH 1.6 billion in subsidies to local budgets for the <b>purchase of school buses next year</b>. This year, UAH 1.2 billion was allocated for the purchase of school buses throughout Ukraine. More than 400 buses have already been purchased and transferred to educational institutions. </p> <p>Also yesterday, at an extraordinary meeting, the government allocated UAH 2.8 billion <b>for the free hot meals program</b>for children in primary school. Thus, more than 1 million students will receive free hot breakfasts or lunches next year.</p> <p>This program is part of the “Winter Support” initiative, as well as “<b>Teacher's Allowance</b>“. so that from January all Ukrainian teachers began to receive an additional monthly payment of UAH 1,300. </p> <p>Also today, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 150 million in subsidies for the regions to <b>improve the qualifications of teachers</b>. This is part of the New Ukrainian School program, which will be continued next year.</p> <p> Another important decision was made at today's meeting: UAH 305 million in subsidies were distributed in 2025 to support children with special educational needs.</b></p> <p>At the next meeting, the Ministry of Education and Science must submit for consideration the procedures for providing a subsidy from the state budget in 2025 for all other educational investment projects. , equipping food facilities and filling classrooms with the subject “Defense of Ukraine”.</p> <p><!--noindex--></p> <p><a rel=lb.ua
