288 arsonists were detained, including 211 men, 12 women and 65 minors.
In Ukraine, 352 car arsons were committed in 2024, and the vast majority of them were commissioned by the special services of the Russian Federation.
This was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the National Police, the head of the criminal police Andriy Nebitov.
He noted that the perpetrators have already been held accountable for 229 cases.
In addition to cars, the offenders set fire to relay cabinets on the railway – 149 cases, as well as the TCC, post offices, police stations – 57 cases.
The largest number of arsons was registered in the city of Kyiv (84), Odessa region (82) and Kharkiv region (71).
The police together with the SBU detained 288 arsonists, including 211 men, 12 women and 65 minors.
