Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius handed over a new wheel to Ukraine howitzer RCH 155. It may force the Ukrainian artillery.
RBC-Ukraine informs us about this after sending messages to Tagesschau.
“Ukraine can take out insurance on us, and this is a signal. And Germany is ready to take on yourself reliability in Europe,” said Pistorius at the hour of handing over the howitzer.
It is indicated that the symbolic transfer took place at Kassel, where the KNDS armored vehicle generator activates this armored system. There is also the former ambassador of Ukraine to Nimechchyna Oleksiy Makeev.

It seems that the first six of these systems will immediately be lost in Germany and will be used to recruit Ukrainian soldiers.
“We don’t need mediators, we need allies,” – said Makeev.
Previously, it was known that due to funding from Germany, Ukraine became the first supplier of these wheeled self-propelled guns, with a total of 18 units. However, over the year their number has grown to 54 units.
What you know about the RCH 155
RCH 155 (Remote Controlled Howitzer) – this is a current German self-propelled artillery installation, developed by the Krauss-Maffei company Wegmann. The basis for the RCH 155 is the modular artillery system AGM (Artillery Gun Module), installed on the chassis of the Boxer armored wheeled transporter.
The main equipment is a 155-mm howitzer with automatic loaders, which is capable of firing both basic and high-precision projectiles at a range of up to 54 km. It boasts high accuracy, speed of shooting (up to 9 shots per shot) and the ability to start fire from remote control without the participation of a crew in a combat vehicle.
RCH 155 will provide high mobility and protection to the crew of any wheeled Boxer platform. The installation is designed to quickly change the position after a skin volley, which reduces the risk of counter-battery fire from the enemy’s side. The system also has integrated navigation functions and communication for prompt targeting.
