On the night of January 14, Russia attacked Ukraine with 80 “Shahed” type strike drones and drones-imitators of different types in the directions of Millerovo, Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia).
This was reported by the Air Force.
As of 09:00, damage to 58 “Shaheds” and drones of other types has been confirmed in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Kherson regions. 21 enemy drone imitators – location lost (without negative consequences).
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces.
The downed enemy drones caused damage in Sumy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv and Cherkasy regions. Private and apartment buildings, cars, and citizens' property were damaged.
Preliminary, there were no casualties, assistance is being provided to the victims.
