This was reported by the head of the Donetsk OVA Vadim Filashkin.
“On January 16, Russians wounded 2 residents of Donbass – in Rodinskoye,” the report says.
Filashkin also reported on the operational situation in the region as of the morning of January 17.

Pokrovsky district. In Rodinskoye, Pokrovskaya community, 2 people were wounded, 3 houses were damaged; in Leontovichi, 5 houses were damaged.
Kramatorsk district. In Zarechny, Limanskaya community, a house was damaged. In Tikhonovka, Nikolaevskaya community, 3 houses were damaged. In Konstantinovka, 6 private houses, a power line and a gas pipeline were damaged.
Bakhmut district. In Seversk, 9 private houses and 2 two-story buildings were damaged. In Chasovoyarskaya community, 5 private houses and 2 multi-story buildings were damaged.
In total, over the past 24 hours, Russians shelled populated areas of Donbass 9 times. 122 people, including 6 children, were evacuated from the front line.
It should be noted that at night over Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 33 out of 50 Russian “shaheeds”. The enemy also launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles at Ukraine from the Rostov region.
