The husband of deputy Kormyshkina was suspected of legalizing property that his wife acquired illegally

Law enforcement officers informed the husband of MP Iryna Kormyshkina of suspicion of legalization of illegal property, as well as failure to declare such property.
This was reported by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.
“In 2021-2022, the MP acquired funds in the amount of more than UAH 20 million, which significantly exceeded her legal income. She later loaned them to her husband, who used them to purchase a house in the Odessa region, where the couple now lives,” the report says.
The NABU emphasized that neither the deputy nor her husband indicated information about the aforementioned house and two land plots in their 2023 declaration.
The Bureau does not name the MP, but it is clear from open sources that it is Irina Kormyshkina.
- In October last year, the NABU and SAP reported that Kormyshkina was suspected of 20 million in assets of unknown origin. Later, she was taken on bail by the head of the Servant of the People faction in parliament, David Arakhamia, and the head of the Mykolaiv OVA, Vitaly Kim.
- In November 2022, Prosecutor General Andrei Kostin announced the opening of a case on gifts to MP Allahverdiyeva.
- Kormyshkina, better known by her maiden name Allahverdiyeva, has found herself in unpleasant situations since the very beginning of her tenure in the Rada. First, a sexist scandal erupted around her involving the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, and his then deputy, Oleksandr Kornienko, who called her a “ship pine”, a “working woman” and “a beauty in general”.
