“In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers tried to realize their numerical advantage and break through our defenses lines in the areas of the settlements of Vodyanoye Vtoroye, Elizavetovka, Mirolyubovka, Luch, Uspenovka, Novoaleksandrovka, Dachnoye and Ulakly. According to the military man, the occupiers are unable to bypass Pokrovsk from the flanks and cut off the city from logistics. At the same time, the enemy is trying to bypass the city from the south and north, but is not having success.
“They are trying, but so far these attempts are more or less effectively repelled. They have begun to shell the city itself more actively, but we are talking about different types of missiles, FPV. Unfortunately, they are flying into the city, but their plan to encircle the city is still very far from any practical implementation. Although they are, of course, trying very hard,” the speaker adds.
- Earlier, the Defense Forces noted that the Russian army is trying to encircle Pokrovsk from the south and southwest in order to avoid direct assaults on the city.
