On the morning of February 1, the Russian army launched attacks on Kharkov. The Kholodnohirsk district came under fire. There are known casualties and deaths. This was reported by the mayor of Kharkov Igor Terekhov and the head of the OVA Oleg Sinegubov.
According to the information from the Office of the Prosecutor General, an enemy attack drone hit a few meters from a residential building in the Kholodnohirsk district of Kharkov. The explosion caused a wall to collapse inside the house: rescuers freed a 70-year-old woman from under the rubble. Unfortunately, it was not possible to save the life of the victim – she died from her injuries.
A 64-year-old female resident and a 37-year-old male were injured, both victims were taken to the hospital. Also, two women aged 60 and 77 suffered from an acute stress reaction.
Neighboring private homes, utility rooms, and cars were damaged.
Update. According to Terekhov, as a result of the Shahed hit in the Kholodnogorsk district, one private house was partially destroyed. The fire that started due to the hit was extinguished. According to preliminary information, another 16 private houses were damaged.
According to the head of the Kharkiv OVA, as a result of the enemy strike of the Russian Federation on Kharkiv, a woman of about 60 years old died. In total, the number of victims has already increased to five.
As of 8:39, five people were injured, one person also died.
According to Sinegubov, the impact was recorded in the Kharkiv and Berestinsky districts. The relevant services are checking the information on the damage and casualties.
“In Kharkiv, there was a preliminary impact in the Kholodnogorsk district, within a residential area. There is a fire at the impact site,” Terekhov notes.
