Trump signed a decree on sanctions against the International Criminal Court

US President Donald Trump signed the 6th decree introducing sanctions against the International criminal court (court). The reason was the investigation of the court against Israel.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine via correspondence with the Associated Press.

Trump’s decree states that the ISS is creating an “unsafe precedent.” It is clear that the proposed sanctions include a ban on the entry of citizens of the International Criminal Court into the territory of the United States.

The Associated Press explained and guessed that Israel is a close ally USA. ISS, on its own side, recently, even before Trump’s other presidential term, having seen an arrest warrant for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his actions in favor of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip after the Hamas attack on Israel in 2023.

Sanctions against the International Criminal Court

It is likely that before NBC News, announcing Trump’s decision to impose sanctions on the ISS, wrote that the decree also includes financial and visa regulations opposition against the Posadists to the court, how the people of the United States and their allies were investigated. The same sanctions apply to family members of the ISS soldiers.

It is significant that during his first presidential term, Trump announced that the International Criminal Court does not have jurisdiction, legitimacy and authority in the United States, and neither the United States nor Israel are parties to the Rome Statute.
