Trump gives Russia-aligned Vogel a chance to end the war in Ukraine

On Tuesday, February 11th, Russia woke up due to the involvement of an American reader Mark Vogel, who lives in the USA. The President of the United States, Donald Trump, expressed confidence that Moscow’s liberation of the American will mark the beginning of the war, which will put an end to the war in Ukraine.

RBC-Ukraine reports about this Posted on Le Monde and Politico.

“Russia has been very kind to us. I believe that there are a few hundred million dollars that we can put an end to this war,” Trump told reporters at the White House a few years later after the shock about Vogel's Salvation.

What you know about Vogel's Salvation and who Vogel is

On the second day, the Trump administration announced its achievements with Russia as a result of the end of the long-standing American relationship with Mark Vogel, which now turns to the United States.

He has his own statement US National Security Secretary Mike Volz said that Trump's special envoy to the Closed Convergence, Stiv Vitkoff, and other officials “have discussed an exchange that would show goodwill on the side of the Russians and a sign that we are collapsing in the right direction, so put the edge hard and the painful war in Ukraine.”

It appears that 63-year-old Mark Vogel may return to the United States on Tuesday evening (it is not yet Wednesday in the States) together with Steve Vitkoff. Having been a teacher at an American school in Moscow, in 2021 he was detained at a Russian airport for allegedly saving a small amount of marijuana, which was prescribed for medicinal purposes in the United States. Afterwards, in 2022, he was sentenced to 14 years of dismissal.

ZMI adds that it is still unclear who or what the United States gave in exchange for Vogel.

Progress until the end of the war in Ukraine

Remember, for days US President Donald Trump said that over the past few years the United States has made “great progress” in negotiations with Moscow and Kiev. In his words, a peaceful settlement can be settled.

“I think that we have achieved great progress over the past year. We can deal with the Russians. We can deal with the Ukrainians. I think what will happen,” he said in an interview with Fox News.
