Ukrainian retirees will receive increased payments due to annual indexation since March 1. According to preliminary forecasts, the increase in the increase will be at least 10%, and for some categories of pensioners, the supplement may exceed 1000 UAH – reports IZ with reference to OBOZREVATEL material.
the exact percentage of indexation has not yet been approved, but it may be higher than 10%, since the inflation rate in 2024 was 12%instead of the planned 9.7%. This means that the increase will apply to most Ukrainians who receive pensions on the general system.
the amount of the allowance depends on the calculated pension. Ukrainians who have less than the minimum pension (UAH 2361) can count on an increase of 100-200 UAH. Those whose pension is 3000-4000 UAH will receive an allowance from 300 to 400 UAH. Pensioners with payments up to 5000 UAH can count on an increase of 400-500 UAH. The greatest increase, more than UAH 1000, will receive those whose estimated pension exceeds UAH 10,000
it is worth noting that special pensions (judges, prosecutors, civil servants) are indexed by individual laws. This means that people who are already receiving high payments will not have additional increase.
