The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Hakan Fidan, repeated Ankara’s proposal to hold peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia. It will be held tomorrow, February 2nd, at the meeting of European leaders in London.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine via Reuters.
Following the words of a diplomatic official, Fidan informs European leaders about Turecchin's forces in search of a “fair and peaceful peace” in Ukraine, where war is now on the horizon. It also confirmed Ankara’s adherence to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
It is clear that Fidan “reinforces that Turechina, which accepted direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in the beginning of 2022, is ready to take on this role in the coming period.” In addition, it can be noted that all parties may focus on long-term regional security and stability, as well as economic prosperity during the negotiations.
Reuters guessed that Turechina, who repeatedly called out before the outbreak of fire in 2024, welcomed the US initiative before the outbreak of war, which was sparked by a public super-chitch between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States on Friday Washington.
Guess what, Bloomberg wrote for days that Turechchyna could send its troops to Ukraine. However, Ankara will not take part in the current peacekeeping mission, since it will not be received before all consultations and preparations are completed.
Previously, RBC-Ukraine reported that Turkish companies would help renovate Ukraine. The country has already handed over the renovation projects planned for 2025 to the Turkish region, and tenders for the projects will be announced in the city.
