The US position regarding the Russian war against Ukraine is “not as clear” as Poland’s. This “dilemma” needs to be addressed.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine following a message from Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, as quoted by The Guardian and BBC.
Tusk gave a short briefing at the airport before flying to London to get to Ukraine. Having noted that the situation is complex, the main “dilemma” is that the US position “is not as clear as ours in the supply of Ukraine and Russia.”
“We are to blame for this dilemma,” said the prime minister, adding that Poland has miracles from the United States and will honor them.
Tusk said that during the past few years, Europe has fallen asleep. Having indicated that they will call for more European troops on the similar flank of the EU, in Finland, the Baltic countries and Poland.
“Think about how it sounds: 500 million Europeans are asking 300 million Americans to kidnap them from 130 million Russians,” Tusk said.
Summit in London
In the week of February 2, London will be at peace with Ukraine, as British Prime Minister Keir Starmer calls.
The same fate will include the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, as well as the leaders of France, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Canada, Finland, Sweden, Czech Republic and Romania, head of the Ministry of Health of Turkey, Secretary General of NATO, President of the European Commission and European Union.
As Sky News previously reported, the Baltic states were “dissatisfied” with the fact that they were not asked to join Ukraine.
