Zaporizhia received buses from Italy: delivery cost 1.2 million UAH

The Italian city of Milan has transferred to Zaporizhzhia six IRISBUS buses, which were previously used on local routes. As reported by IZ with reference to Prozorro, the Zaporizhelectrotrans KP is currently looking for a company that can deliver transport to the city. The cost of transportation is estimated at over 1.2 million hryvnias. The tender for transportation has already been published, and applications are accepted until March 11.

These are two Urban Bus IRISBUS 591.12.29 buses and four Suburban Bus IRISBUS 491.12.29. The distance between Milan and Zaporizhia is over 2,500 km, so the transport will have to be driven under its own power. The winner of the tender will be announced on March 12, and the buses should be delivered by the end of this year. This is an important step for the renewal of public transport in Zaporizhia.

Local authorities remind that new public transport fares will come into effect in Zaporizhia from March 10. It was previously reported that the popularity of routes to Kyiv and frontline cities among the military has increased significantly. In addition, in February, city residents did not receive national cashback due to delays in operational processes, but the funds have already been allocated.

Recall, we previously wrote that Ivan Fedorov will host a live broadcast for the Zaporizhia community.
