Gold for Ukraine: Chepurny triumphed at the World Cup

Ukrainian gymnast Nazar Chepurnyi won a gold medal in the vault at the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku. As IZ reports with reference to Suspilne Sport, his result was 14.466 points, which allowed him to get ahead of China's Huang Minqi by 0.05 points. This is Chepurnyi's second medal at this stage, as the day before he won bronze in the floor exercise.

The competition took place on March 9, and Nazar Chepurny demonstrated his skills in the final. The Ukrainian performed two jumps, which the judges rated as the highest points among all participants. Third place went to Belarusian Yegor Sheremkov with a score of 14.099 points. Thus, Chepurny brought Ukraine another victory in the international arena.

This season has been very successful for the 22-year-old Ukrainian, who previously won two silver medals at the World Cup in Cottbus, Germany. The triumph in Baku confirmed his high form and desire for new achievements. Ukrainian fans continue to follow the performances of Chepurny, who is one of the most promising gymnasts in the country.
